    The sixth note of any MAJOR scale is the first [ROOT] note of its RELATIVE MINOR key.

    Use upper chart for MAJOR and lower chart for MINOR chords.

  To construct chord(s):  Rotate your iOS device to the Chord Board® in landscape mode.
    Slide first [ROOT] note of chord required opposite 1.
    Notes necessary to complete chord(s) are opposite their respective numbers and/or
    colour-coded names.
    After constructing chord(s), rotate your iOS device to the chords menu in portrait mode.

  To transpose chords:  Rotate your iOS device to the Chord Board® in landscape mode.
    Slide first [ROOT] note of chord to be transposed opposite 1;  observe relative positions
    on charts  opposite ROOT notes of additional chords to be transposed.
    Slide ROOT note of first chord in transposed key opposite 1;  ROOT notes of additional
    chords are opposite the relative positions observed on charts.

  Note: the (highlighted) key may also be changed by
               tapping the 
key required on the Chords 
screen.

More than a chord dictionary ~ a means of reference for
musicians, singers, songwriters, choirs, composers and
arrangers ~ and a convenient teaching/learning tool used
by teachers and students of music at all levels.
The multi-coloured chart is a 2-octave piano keyboard
with numbered note positions ~ and a center slide that displays the notes.
A chord consists of 3 or more notes - to find the notes necessary to form a chord, move the centre slide so the root note (1st note of the chord) is opposite 1 ... for major chords, refer to the upper (colour-coded) section and for minor chords, the lower section.
